I'm a sweet domestic rat who is friendly and curious.  Rats are intelligent and social animals who don't do well living alone, so my sister Lydia and I must be adopted together.  We haven't been handled much and are fearful of being held, so we need a patient, rat experienced adopter who will always treat us gently.  We may never be comfortable being held, so we're looking for an animal lover who will put our needs ahead of their own agenda. I'm a special needs girl because I have a head tilt that may be caused by a pituitary tumor, but right now I'm managing just fine.  If you're a rat experienced person who can accept the fact that we may never want to be held, and you'll make our happiness and welfare a top priority, you are the special kind of person we want to meet!
