Hi, I'm Dove!
I'm an adult spayed female gray, blue or silver tabby Domestic Short Hair.
I'm a petite girl with a very friendly and affectionate personality. I was adopted, but was returned two days later because the other cats in the home didn't like me. However, I get along great with the other cats in my daily "play group" at the shelter. The HSJC urges adopters to provide a slow introduction between a new cat and cats already in the home. This is accomplished by keeping the new kitty in a separate room, so the other cats can get accustomed to the smell of the new addition. Taking the time to do a slow and proper introduction paves the way for felines to live together in purrfect harmony!
I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for Feline Leukemia and been tested for FIV.
If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed. Please contact the shelter at 920-674-2048 with any questions.
