I'm a friendly and affectionate domestic rat who likes to be held and petted.  I am litter box trained and love my toy tunnels - they're so much fun to hide in!  I was dearly loved in my previous home but sadly surrendered due to my owner's health issues.  Domestic rats are very intelligent and, like dogs, are extremely devoted to their owners.  We are social animals who don't do well living alone, so we must be adopted in pairs or trios.  If you can commit to me (and a friend or two) for the rest of our lives, we'll be amazing companions who will steal your heart!
