I'm a sweet boy who is very mild mannered. At first I felt overwhelmed at the shelter and liked to hide in my box, and when staff members carry me somewhere I want to hide in their arms. It's tough to be such a sensitive guy in unfamiliar surroundings! Even though I was so frightened, the shelter staff discovered that I am very affectionate and like to be petted. I seem submissive when interacting with other cats because I'm a lover, not a fighter! I'm looking for a quieter home without young children, with an adopter who understands that I'll just need a bit of time to settle in and feel safe. If you're a kind person who allows me that bit of time, you'll soon be rewarded with all of my love and gratitude!
