Hi, I'm Tori!
I'm a 1 year old spayed female black with tan, yellow or fawn Chesapeake Bay Retriever / Hound Mix.
Age: Approximately 1-2 years
Weight: 60 lbs
My Story: I'm a sweet mixed breed girl who came to the HSJC from a shelter in Monroe county. I'm very friendly with people and the folks at the Monroe shelter said I'm good with most other dogs. I'm a young and active gal with a lot of energy, so I'll need plenty of daily exercise. You know what they say, "a good dog is a tired dog!" It seems that I didn't have an owner who cared enough to give me much training. Obedience classes are highly recommended for me, so I can learn good manners and channel my energy in positive ways. Dogs aren't born knowing how to behave in ways that people like, so we need guidance and training! Due to my size and exuberance level, I'm approved for children over the age of 10. I'd love to join an active family who will give me the time, attention, and exercise I need - along with a whole lot of love! Tori is approved for families with kids over the age of 10.
I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application.
