Hi, I'm Cleo!

I'm a 8 month old spayed female brindle Shepherd / Mix.

Age: Approximately 6 months

Weight: 43 lbs

My Story: I'm a beautiful brindle pup whose owner left me with a friend and never came back for me. The most accurate term for this is "abandonment," which happens to lots of pets.  :(  Even though I was discarded by the person I loved, I'm still a sweet and friendly girl who loves people. I have a medium/high energy level and will need daily exercise to keep me happy, both physically and mentally. Because I'm only 6 months old, my adopter must give me lots of time, attention, and exercise - and, of course, love! I lived with dogs and cats and got along well with them. I'm doing great with my potty training at the shelter because I'm taken outside several times a day. (A consistent schedule with lots of opportunities to go outside are crucial in potty training!). I know the commands for sit, lay, and come, and I enjoy playing fetch. Obedience training will not only help me become a good canine citizen, but will also help me form a strong bond with my person. I'm looking for a responsible adopter who will love and care for me for my whole life long. I am approved for children over the age of 8 and will be a fantastic addition to a loving family. If you're ready to commit to me, I'm ready to rock your world with my love and devotion! Cleo is approved for families with children over the age of 8.

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
My adoption fee is $200.00.
I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
