Help, There’s a Loose Dog!

October 14, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

If you’re out walking your dog, or walking alone, and a loose dog comes running toward you would you know what to do? This hour long workshop will teach participants how to handle the situation safely and escape unscathed. Learn some simple, effective ways of protecting yourself and your dogs in this frightening situation.

The workshop will be held in the shelter’s Community Education Room on Saturday, October 14th, at 10:00 am. This event is for humans only, so please leave your pets at home. The workshop is free, but monetary donations or items from the shelter’s wish list are greatly appreciated!

We’d love to know how many people are planning to attend so we can set up the room accordingly. Please contact the shelter by phone at 920-674-2048, by email at shelter@hsjc-wis.com, or hit “going” on the Facebook event page to let us know you’re planning on attending!

This is a free workshop sponsored by Pet Partners, a partnership between the Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic and the Humane Society of Jefferson County.
