Trivia Night at Mr. Brews
Join us on Monday, January 22nd, at 6:00 pm for a Winter Wonderland themed trivia night at Mr. Brews Taphouse! Enjoy the night’s special menu, beer and wine, with a portion of selected beer sales benefiting the Humane Society of Jefferson County. The cost is $30 per table with a 6 person limit per table. Valentine’s Day Raffle
Purchase a raffle ticket to help homeless pets, and you’ll earn a chance to win a fabulous getaway! The lucky winner will receive an overnight stay for two in the Classic Room at the Delafield Hotel in Delafield, WI, subject to availability and black-out dates. Philomena’s Sweet Recovery Bake Sale
Stop by the shelter on Friday, February 16th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for a bake sale! Shelter staff and volunteers will be whipping up their favorite treats to help us raise funds for the medical care of sweet girl named Philomena. Philomena came into the shelter unable to walk, dehydrated, and starving. Philomena is a fully grown cat, estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old, but weighs just 3.3 lbs—approximately the weight of the average 3-month-old kitten.…

Spay-ghetti Dinner
The Humane Society of Jefferson County will be hosting a Spay-ghetti Dinner on Tuesday, February 27th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This delicious event takes place at the shelter with a spaghetti dinner, a presentation to introduce to our newest program, the Community Cat Program, and a raffle (raffle tickets sold separately). Dinner is $15 per plate consists of spaghetti with Mangiami Italiano marinara sauce (gluten free noodles upon request), Papa Brunk’s Bakery bread sticks, and Mr. Brews Taphouse salad. Bottled…
Photos with the Easter Bunny
Kids of all ages are invited to hop in for Photos with the Easter Bunny! The cost is $20.00 for a digital file with up to 3 photos and all proceeds benefit the shelter. This event takes place on Saturday, March 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Appointments are required and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Puppy Naming Contest
Mama Minnie has six little bundles of joy (3 females, 3 males) that need names! For $5.00 per name, you can enter your favorite names into our naming contest. Entries close on April 5th and names will be drawn during the livestream of our Slumber Pawty on April 6th. All names are subject to shelter approval. Shelter Slumber Pawty
We’re having a Shelter Slumber Pawty to raise much needed funds for the animals! From noon on Saturday, April 6th, to noon on Sunday, April 7th, HSJC staff, volunteers, and supporters will spend 24 hours eating, sleeping, and playing in a dog kennel or community cat room with their favorite shelter animals. Will our human participants get any sleep? Probably not. Will the animals enjoy sharing their space? We’re pretty sure they’ll love it! Slumber Pawty participants are already taking donations…

Wine & Bingo at Lewis Station Winery – FULL!
Lewis Station Winery will be hosting a Bingo Night fundraiser for the shelter on Wednesday, April 10th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The cost to play is a $5.00 donation to the shelter, which will be collected on the day of the event. Participants must register online at https://lewis-station-winery.square.site/. Painting with Pets
Join us (and more importantly, adorable animals!) for an afternoon of paint-by-numbers! On Saturday, April 20th the HSJC will host a paint-by-numbers event with painting kits provided by Rhettro Design Co. from Noon to 2pm in the shelter’s Community Education Room. Refreshments will be available and there will be a adorable pets ready to provide you with a cuddling break! Painting kits are $28 each and you can also order kits to go!
