My Story: I'm a beautiful young girl who is very sweet and affectionate with people I trust. I need a little time to get acquainted, but once I feel comfortable I'm very friendly and love to be petted. (In fact, with people I trust I'll climb right into their laps!). In my previous home, I didn't get the guidance and exercise that every young dog needs. Now that I'm at the shelter and am on a consistent schedule, I'm doing great with potty training and really enjoy my daily leash walks. I have a good amount of energy and will need daily exercise and play time with my family. I was too interested in the cats in my home so I'll need to live in a feline-free household. I am approved for respectful children over the age of 14 and would love to be part of a caring and responsible family. If you're a gentle person who will allow me to settle in at my own speed, we could be perfect for each other! Roxy cannot live with cats and is approved for families with respectful children over the age of 14.

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
