Hi, I'm Jazzy!

I'm a 2 year old spayed female tan/yellow/fawn with white Terrier / Mix.

  • Spayed female terrier-type mix
  • 2 years old
  • Medium/high energy level
  • Very shy but sweet and cuddly once she's comfortable
  • Needs a quieter home with adults only (no kids living in or visiting the home)
  • Needs a patient adopter who will give her time to settle in and feel safe
  • Seems to like most other friendly and respectful dogs

I'm an incredibly sweet little girl who is very timid and unsure with new people and situations. After I was surrendered to the shelter I was really afraid for about a week, but once I started to come around my HSJC caregivers were amazed at how affectionate I am! Once I know you're my friend I love to give kisses, be held and cuddled, and curl up in your lap. I've definitely shown that once I'm comfortable with someone, I'm a total love bug who wants as much affection as I can get! I'm looking for a quieter home with adults only, with no children living in or visiting the home. (This "no kids" requirement is necessary because they're just too scary for me.) I have very good leash manners and seem to like most other friendly and respectful dogs. I need a patient and kind adopter who will give me gentle reassurance and let me settle in at my own pace. I'm not cut out be a "take me anywhere" kind of dog who's fine with strangers, crowds of people, loud noises, or hectic surroundings. However, I will be an extremely affectionate and snuggly lap dog who loves you with all my heart! NOTE: I can go home with my adopter after my spay surgery on Wednesday, May 24.

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

My adoption fee is $250.00.
I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
