Meet Broccoli Oscar!
- 1 year old
- Neutered male
- Bonded with Carrot Mae and they must be adopted together
- Did well with a dog in his previous home
- No known experience with children
Broccoli Oscar is a sweet young guy looking for a fresh start alongside his beloved sister, Carrot Mae. The bonded pair lost the only home they’ve ever known when their family could no longer afford their care. Broccoli can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, he transforms into the affectionate, goofy boy his previous family knew and loved.
His former owner described him as outgoing, friendly, playful, curious, cuddly, and wonderfully relaxed. They said, "Most of the time he has zero thoughts, very goofy and is a snugglebug," and shared that if there's an open lap, Broccoli will happily hop up and settle in for a cuddle. He loves following his people from room to room, making sure they're always within sight, and is happiest when he's curled up beside them while they read or watch TV.
Broccoli is deeply bonded to Carrot Mae and takes many of his cues from her. She's the brave explorer, and once she decides everything is safe, Broccoli is happy to follow along. The two must be adopted together so they can continue to support one another. He also previously lived with a dog, whom he enjoyed playing and snuggling with.
When he's in the mood to play, Broccoli loves toys, especially his favorite cardinal toys that make bird sounds. Beneath his initially cautious nature is a fun-loving, affectionate "lover boy" with adorable expressions and a heart full of love. Give him a little time, keep his sister by his side, and you'll be rewarded with a devoted companion who will happily shadow you through life.
Broccoli Oscar and Carrot Mae have been waiting a while to find their family so their adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take them home!
Broccoli Oscar has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.
