7th Annual Furry Friends 5k – Virtual Race

It’s time to register for the 7th Annual Furry Friends 5K!
Join the race to help homeless pets by participating in the Humane Society of Jefferson County’s 7th Annual Furry Friends 5K. This year’s race will consist of two parts — the virtual race to be run by May 16th and the race at the Jefferson County Fair Park on August 22nd.
We’re adding a virtual race this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Safer at Home order. In the virtual race you’ll walk or run the path of your choice — around your neighborhood, on a trail, at the dog park, etc. An email will be sent to participants with a login link to the race website where you’ll be able to submit your run/walk time. The HSJC will also be going live on Facebook on May 16th to cheer you on!
The virtual 5k is included at no extra cost when you register for the August 22nd 5k. Registration for the August 22nd 5k is required to be able to join the virtual race. Virtual race participants must register before noon on May 15th. Race day shirt pick up will be curbside on May 15th from 3-6 pm. More information will be emailed to participants.
Registration Fees through July 6th:
13 years & under: $20
14 years & up: $30
Registration Fees after July 6th:
13 years & under: $25
14 years & up: $35
Price includes registration for both the virtual and in-person 5k, a race day T-shirt, swag bag full of goodies, finisher medals for humans AND dogs, as well as finish line snacks and beverages.
