Furry Friends Kids Camp – Full!

The Humane Society of Jefferson County will host two Furry Friends Kids Camps this year! The first camp will be from Monday, July 10th, through Friday, July 14th. The second camp will be from Monday, August 14th, through Friday, August 18th. This week long day camp will provide a fun-filled experience for children as they learn about kindness and compassion for the animals who share our world. Campers will also learn how shelters, like the Humane Society of Jefferson County, help animals in need.
Camp runs each day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Registration open to children ages 5 to 12.
Campers will participate in animal related programs, games, crafts and activities, including a behind the scenes shelter tour and interacting with animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and domestic rats.
Registration and liability release forms are available at the Humane Society of Jefferson County, located at W6127 Kiesling Road between Fort Atkinson and Jefferson. The cost is $175.00 per student with an additional $2.50 service fee for on-line registrations. If you register additional sibling(s) there is a 10% discount on the additional registration fee(s). All materials and a Kids Camp t-shirt are included.
Lunch can be purchased for $5.00 a day, which includes a sandwich, chips, and fruit. Campers are also welcome to bring their own lunch from home.
