SUMMARY:The Rescue Effect - Fee-Waived Adoption Event
DESCRIPTION:We’re teaming up with the ASPCA for The Rescue Effect\, a nationwide movement to help more animals find loving homes! For two days only\, all adoption fees will be waived for pets at the Humane Society of Jefferson County. While adoption fees are waived\, donations are always welcome to help us continue caring for animals in need. \nAdopting even one animal creates a ripple effect—freeing up space and resources so we can help even more animals in need. When we help one\, we help many! \nWe’ll do our best to process same-day applications\, but we can’t guarantee it\, so we encourage you to submit your adoption application in advance for pre-approval. Please note that we will be unable to place holds on pets during this event\, and this promotion does not apply to animals at our satellite adoption centers. \nCome meet your new best friend and be part of the ripple effect!

Join us for Check the Chip on Tuesday\, September 16th\, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Humane Society of Jefferson County. \nBring your pet (on a leash or in a carrier)\, and we’ll: \n🐾 Scan for a microchip — If your pet already has one\, we’ll provide the info you need to ensure the registration is current and add your pet to our system for extra peace of mind. \n🐾 Offer microchipping — If your pet isn’t chipped yet\, we’ll provide microchipping and registration for just $20 per chip. \nA microchip is a simple\, effective way to protect your furry friend — don’t miss this chance to check and chip!
