DESCRIPTION:The HSJC will be hosting our semiannual Dr. Galen Heyne Rabies Clinic on Saturday\, sponsored by Zoetis\, March 28th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Activity Center at the Jefferson County Fair Park. Rabies vaccinations will cost $15.00 each\, which can be paid by check\, cash\, or credit card. \nAll rabies vaccinations will be good for one year unless a rabies certificate is provided as proof of a current rabies vaccination\, in which case a three-year vaccine may be given. Rabies tags cannot be accepted as proof of a current rabies vaccination. \nAll cats must be contained in carriers and all dogs must be on leash. \nFREE distemper vaccines will be available while supplies last thanks to Petco Love! \nPre-Registration is now closed! Walk-ins will still be welcomed during the event time! \nDr. Galen Heyne was a remarkable veterinarian and an even more extraordinary human being. Dr. Galen was not only a skilled professional but also a shining example of compassion\, generosity\, and kindness. His selfless dedication to the welfare of shelter animals\, his unwavering support for our community\, and his boundless warmth touched the lives of so many. \nIn tribute to his immeasurable contributions\, our annual rabies clinics are named in his honor. This perpetual tribute serves as a reminder of his enduring impact and the profound difference he made in the lives of both animals and people.

Rabies vaccinations will cost $15.00 each\, which can be paid by check\, cash\, or credit card. \nAll rabies vaccinations will be good for one year unless a rabies certificate is provided as proof of a current rabies vaccination\, in which case a three-year vaccine may be given. Rabies tags cannot be accepted as proof of a current rabies vaccination. \nAll cats must be contained in carriers and all dogs must be on leash. \nFREE distemper vaccines will be available while supplies last thanks to Petco Love! \nPre-registration is now closed\, but walk-ins are welcome!\nDr. Galen Heyne was a remarkable veterinarian and an even more extraordinary human being. Dr. Galen was not only a skilled professional but also a shining example of compassion\, generosity\, and kindness. His selfless dedication to the welfare of shelter animals\, his unwavering support for our community\, and his boundless warmth touched the lives of so many. \nIn tribute to his immeasurable contributions\, our annual rabies clinics are named in his honor.
