DESCRIPTION:We are looking forward to seeing YOU at the annual Furry Friends 5K. Join the race to help pets in need at the Humane Society of Jefferson County’s  Annual Furry Friends 5K Run/Walk. What can you expect?  A safe\, tail-wagging experience that is fun for everyone! This family- and dog-friendly event will take place at the Jefferson County Fair Park with a beautiful flat scenic course that ensures first time walkers and runners can comfortably participate alongside the more serious runners. \nKidK Obstacle Run/Walk! \n– GEARED for ages 1 to 6\, but anyone can register to get in on the fun.\n– All participants will get a medal.  There will not be an award ceremony for the KidK Run/Walk.\n– The obstacle course will have different activities for each participant to explore with color powder\, hopscotch style obstacles\, rail yard\, and so much more. \nRegistration Fees: \n\n5k timed run or untimed walk – $30 until April 11th\, $35 starting April 12th.\nKidK obstacle run/walk – $10 until April 11th\, $15 starting April 12th.\n\n*Registration after April 11th does not guarantee participants an event T-shirt or award. \nRegister Now!

No experience needed—we’ll guide you step-by-step to design a beautiful piece that will sparkle in the sunlight. \nWorkshop will be held at Stable Rock Distillery & Winery located at 123 W Milwaukee St\, Jefferson\, WI \n✨ Workshop Includes: \nYour choice of pet-themed design \nCrushed glass \nStep-by-step instruction \nAll materials provided \n💛 Give Back While You Create:A portion of each registration will be donated to support the Humane Society Jefferson County. We’re excited to host two week-long camps\, offering behind-the-scenes access to animal welfare\, pet care\, and community compassion. Campers will participate in animal-related programs\, games\, crafts\, and activities; they will also have the opportunity to meet a variety of animals from our shelter and our community!\n\nRegistration opens March 2nd at 8am! Our camps fill up fast\, so don’t miss out! To be added to our email reminder list\, please email Madison at mcummings@hsjc-wis.com\n\nCamp Dates:\n\nSession 1: July 13 – July 17\nSession 2: August 3 – August 7\n\nCamp Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily\n    *note: time has been adjusted to better accommodate other extra curriculars and community events\n\nCamp Location: Humane Society of Jefferson County W6127 Kiesling Road Jefferson\, WI 53549\n\nAges: 5–12 years old\n\nCost: $245 per child; $225 for additional siblings\nCampers will receive two camp t-shirts\, daily lunches and snacks\, and exciting activities!\n\nRegistration Deadlines:\n\nJuly Camp: Register by July 6\nAugust Camp: Register by July 27\n\nImportant Information: We do our best to accommodate food allergies\, but due to the food and snacks we feed our dogs\, we cannot guarantee a nut-free facility.
