DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a spook-tacular time at our Trunk-or-Treat event on Friday\, October 17th\, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at W6127 Kiesling Road\, Jefferson! \nKids are invited to dress up in their favorite costumes and trick-or-treat from a variety of creatively decorated trunks. It’s a safe\, family-friendly way to celebrate Halloween—and it’s completely free to attend! \nBring the whole family\, enjoy a fun-filled afternoon\, and maybe even say hello to some of our adorable adoptable pets while you’re here! \nWant to get involved? We’re looking for volunteers to host trunks! If you’d like to decorate your car\, hand out candy\, and connect with the local community\, contact Madison at mcummings@hsjc-wis.com. Hosting a trunk is free\, all you have to do is provide the candy!

DESCRIPTION:We’re teaming up with the ASPCA for The Rescue Effect\, a nationwide movement to help more animals find loving homes! For two days only\, all adoption fees will be waived for pets at the Humane Society of Jefferson County. While adoption fees are waived\, donations are always welcome to help us continue caring for animals in need. \nAdopting even one animal creates a ripple effect—freeing up space and resources so we can help even more animals in need. When we help one\, we help many! \nWe’ll do our best to process same-day applications\, but we can’t guarantee it\, so we encourage you to submit your adoption application in advance for pre-approval. Please note that we will be unable to place holds on pets during this event\, and this promotion does not apply to animals at our satellite adoption centers. \nCome meet your new best friend and be part of the ripple effect!
