May is a curious and sensitive girl who’s taking her time getting used to people—but shows more bravery each day. She loves snuggling with her sisters and watching the world from the safety of her hammock. May is still learning that hands mean treats and kindness, and she’s making great strides with gentle, consistent interaction. She must be adopted with at least one of her sisters to provide the social comfort she relies on. With a little patience and lots of love, May will reward her new family with quiet companionship and adorable moments.

If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
