The mission of the Humane Society of Jefferson County is to care for the lost, homeless and abused animals of Jefferson County, help place them in forever homes, and work to inspire kinder and more humane communities.

It looks like a couple of screws came loose and the program that displays our adoptable critters isn't working quite right. Either that or all of our small animals, birds, and other critters went home! We're working on correcting the problem.
