Velocity is sweet, confident, and always excited to say hi. She’ll post up at the front of her space and politely (but persistently) tell you she’s there until you look her way. Head scratches are her favorite, and she’ll happily lean into them once you start.
She’s playful too—toss her a toy and she’ll bat it around like it’s the best part of her day. She was a wonderful mom to her kittens, and now it’s Velocity’s turn to be the center of attention. She’s ready to be someone’s beloved companion who brings personality, play, and plenty of affection to a loving home.
As part of the shelter's "No Mom Left Behind" program Velocity's adoption fee is just $40.00!
Velocity has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
