I'm a sweet girl who was abandoned by my owner in 2017 when I was about 4 months old. Luckily someone found me and I was able to come to the shelter. I needed treatment for Parvovirus, a disease that is often fatal for dogs, but fortunately I survived and was adopted into a loving home. I was recently returned to the shelter and find myself in need of someone new to love. I'm a big cuddle bug and seem to think I'm a lap dog, but while I absolutely LOVE people I cannot live with other dogs. Here's a list of my awesome qualities: 1) I am very affectionate with people; 2) I am potty trained; 3) I know the commands for sit, down, and paw; 4) I have nice leash manners; 5) I come when I'm called; and 6) I love to go for car rides. I also enjoy playing with stuffed toys and am very food motivated (but I'm overweight right now and need to lose a few pounds). I am approved for families with respectful children and will thrive in a home where I'm the only dog. (In case you didn't know, dogs who need to be the only canine in their home should not be taken to dog parks or areas where other dogs are likely to be). I've had an action-packed story in my 6 years on earth and am so deserving of a true forever home.
