Hi, I'm Hogie!
I'm a 2 year old tan/yellow/fawn with white neutered male.
HOGIE: Border Collie mix, neutered male, 1 year old, high energy level, friendly and affectionate personality, very intelligent, loves people, needs daily exercise, approved for respectful children, seems to like most female dogs but cannot live with male dogs, cannot live with cats or other small animals.
I'm a very sweet pup who is madly in love with people. I am friendly, affectionate, playful, and very intelligent. As a young herding breed with lots of energy, I will definitely need daily exercise and play time with my human(s). Herding breeds are super smart dogs who need physical and mental stimulation, so I'll happily join you on walks, jogs, or hikes and enjoy learning anything you'd like to teach me. I love stuffed toys, playing fetch, getting ear scratches, and pleasing my people. I am approved for respectful children and I seem to like most female dogs. However, I cannot live with male dogs or any cats and other small animals. I have a huge amount of love to give and will be a great choice for an active and involved person or family!
The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
