* FIV+ cats have tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, which is not contagious to people or other species. The virus spreads between cats mainly through deep bite wounds, blood transfusions, or rarely from mother to kitten. Research shows that spayed/neutered, cat-friendly FIV+ cats can safely live with FIV- cats. While FIV weakens the immune system, well-cared-for indoor FIV+ cats often live normal, healthy lives. To help these cats more quickly find loving homes, their adoption fee is reduced to $50.
I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
