Pig is a playful pup with lots of fun energy and a big heart. He gets along well with others and enjoys making new friends. Pig already knows how to sit and is doing well with leash walking, making him a great companion for any adventure. With his sweet nature and happy personality, Pig will bring joy and love to any home.
The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
Pig has been , vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. Pig has tested negative for heartworm.

You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
