Meet Eddie!
I'm an adorable Chihuahua mix who is very small in size. I came to the shelter as a stray, and it's hard to believe no one came to reclaim me because I'm so wonderful! I'm shy with new people but am very friendly and loving with people I know. I don't seem to have a mean bone in my body, but because I'm so tiny and timid, I'm looking for a quiet, adults only home. Once I know you, I'm extremely sweet and affectionate and will enjoy nothing more than cuddling up with you for some loving. If you're a kind and gentle adult who can commit to me for the rest of my life, I'd very much like to meet you!
Eddie has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. Eddie has tested negative for heartworm.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
