I'm a sweet domestic rat who will do best with an experienced rat owner.  Rats are clean, affectionate, and intelligent animals who don't do well living alone, so my sister Maria and I must be adopted together.  We haven't been handled very much and will need a kind and gentle adopter who will patiently work with us so we can learn that being held and petted is a good thing!  Maria is a special needs girl who may have a pituitary tumor and has a head tilt, but she manages just fine at this point in time.  We are both friendly and curious but fearful of being handled, so we need an understanding adopter who will put our needs ahead of their own agenda.  If you're that special type of animal lover, we hope you'll come in to meet us!
