Hi, I'm Wynona!
I'm a 4 year old spayed female tan/yellow/fawn with white Terrier / Mix.
Age: Approximately 4 years
Weight: 40 lbs
Physical Description: Smooth-coated tan with white, rose ears, long tail.
My Story: I'm a beautiful girl who was abandoned and left tied to a tree in the 90+ degree heat. It's hard to imagine anyone treating an animal this way, but that's what happened. :( I'm so glad I was rescued and very grateful to be safe at the shelter! I have a friendly personality and enjoy being petted and loved. I have a good deal of energy and will need daily exercise to keep me happy and healthy. I'd love to attend obedience classes so I can learn great manners - and these classes will also help me form a strong bond with my adopter! I am selective about other dogs so I wouldn't mind being your one and only canine companion. After my terrible ordeal, I'm excited to find a new owner who will really love and care about me! Wynona is approved for families with children age 15 and up.
I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed. Please contact the shelter at 920-674-2048 with any questions.
