Hi, I'm Ava!

I'm a 1 year old spayed female brindle with white Terrier / Mix.

Age: Approximately 1 year

Weight: 49 lbs

My Story: I'm a spunky and active young girl who came to the HSJC from a shelter in Fond du Lac, WI. I'm looking for an adopter with dog experience who will introduce me slowly to new people and situations. Once I know someone is my friend, I am very sweet and playful and I love to be petted and praised. I have a lot of healthy energy and will be an excellent walking, running, or hiking partner. I would benefit from obedience training so I can learn to channel my energy in positive ways. I am approved for families with children over the age of 12. If you're a dog savvy person who can give me lots of time, attention, positive reinforcement, and love, then you're someone I'd like to meet! Ava is approved for families with children over the age of 12.

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
My adoption fee is $200.00.
I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
