My Story: I'm a wonderful boy who was adopted from the shelter over 3 years ago and was recently returned because of human issues and not through any fault of my own. I was left alone in the house for 5 hours a day and did fine. I am potty trained, enjoy car rides, and like to play fetch and tug of war. My previous family said I am very affectionate and that I'm just a great dog. I know the commands for sit, shake, lay down, and wait. I didn't live with any other animals and I seem to like every human except the mailman. :D  My previous owner said I love attention and petting and will be by your side whenever possible. I'll get great care at the shelter, but it just can't compare to a real home. I am approved for gentle and respectful children over the age of 10. I'm looking for a responsible and kind adopter who can commit to me for the rest of my life. The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
