Shelter Slumber Pawty

We’re having a Shelter Slumber Pawty to raise much needed funds for the animals!

From noon on Saturday, March 25, to noon on Sunday, March 26, HSJC staff, volunteers, and supporters will spend 24 hours eating, sleeping, and playing in a dog kennel or community cat room with their favorite shelter animals. Will our human participants get any sleep? Probably not. Will the animals enjoy sharing their space? We’re pretty sure they’ll love it!

We’ll be live streaming this event so join us on Facebook for a sneak peek into the lives of shelter pets. You can donate online during the Slumber Pawty, and if you donate in response to one of our special requests you can “buy” a silly stunt from one of our participants, like eating a dog treat or wearing a cone of shame. ????

You can also stop by the shelter on the 25th between 1-6 pm to donate in person and visit the animals and their Slumber Pawty partners. Your donation will go directly toward caring for homeless pets as they wait to be adopted.
