Last week, the world lost a remarkable veterinarian and an even more extraordinary human being, Dr. Galen Heyne. Dr. Galen was not only a skilled professional but also a shining example of compassion, generosity, and kindness. His selfless dedication to the welfare of shelter animals, his unwavering support for our community, and his boundless warmth touched the lives of so many.

In tribute to his immeasurable contributions, we are proud to announce that our annual rabies clinics will now be known as the Dr. Galen Heyne Rabies Clinic. This perpetual tribute serves as a reminder of his enduring impact and the profound difference he made in the lives of both animals and people.

To Dr. Galen’s beloved family, friends, colleagues, clients, and all who were fortunate enough to know him, we offer our deepest condolences.
