11 Dogs Rescued from Hurricane Francine
All the Hurricane Francine rescue dogs have been adopted!
The Humane Society of Jefferson County has opened its doors to 11 dogs rescued from shelters in Louisiana that were impacted by Hurricane Francine. These pups were brought in through an emergency transport sponsored by Greater Good Charities, and now that they’re safe and sound with us, they’re officially ready to find their new homes!
Each dog has their own personality and story, but they all share one thing in common—they’re looking for a loving family to give them the fresh start they deserve. Our team has been working hard to make sure they’re settled in and ready to meet potential adopters.
If you’re not able to adopt, you can still support our efforts by donating wish list items or volunteering your time. Every little bit helps these pups get the care and love they need. Come visit and see if your new best friend is waiting for you, or find other ways to get involved!
