Hi, I'm Elsie - Adoption fee paid!!

I'm a 9 year old black with white spayed female.

Age: Approximately 2 years

Weight: 45 lbs

Physical Description: Smooth-coated black with white, semi-erect ears, ring tail.

My Story: I'm a sweet herding dog mix who can be shy at first, but warms up quickly to kind people.  Herding dogs are very intelligent and energetic, so they need to be kept busy and given plenty of exercise.  I seem to like other dogs but cannot live with cats, and I'm approved for families with respectful children over the age of 8.  I'm looking for an adopter who will enjoy providing me with an active lifestyle, and who will commit to loving me for the rest of my life.  If you have what I'm looking for, let's get started on a beautiful relationship!

Thanks to a generous sponsor, my adoption fee has been paid!

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
My adoption fee is Already paid thanks to a generous sponsor.
I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
