Hi, I'm Kellee!

I'm a 5 year old spayed female black Labrador Retriever / Mix.

Age: Almost 5 years

My Story: I'm an extremely sweet black Lab who lost my home because of my owner's health issues. I am very timid and need time to trust new people, but once I know you I am very affectionate. However, I don't seem to be shy with children and I really brighten up when I'm around kids! I like to have my paw held (it seems to comfort me) and I just want to be loved. I am house trained and when my owner left me home alone for 8-10 hours, I was well behaved and didn't bother anything in the house. I lived with a smaller dog and we got along fine, so living with a canine friend might be okay for me. I'm looking for a kind and patient adopter who will give me some time to settle in and feel comfortable in my new home. I must have a fenced in yard because if something spooks me, I will try to run away. I'm approved for respectful children of all ages and I'd really like to join a family with some kids for me to love!

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
My adoption fee is $200.00.
I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
