I'm a sweet and sensitive lady who is front paw declawed. I was a stray and am feeling frightened at the shelter, so I like to hide under my blankets. However, once you start petting me I can't help but show how affectionate I am. I'm looking for a quiet home where my sweet and loving nature will be appreciated. Give me a bit of time to feel comfortable and I'll spend my life being your cuddle partner!
Peggy has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.Peggy is also declawed.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
