Hi, I'm Midnight - Adoption Fee Paid!!

I'm a 10 year old spayed female black with white Chihuahua / Mix.

Age: Approximately 6 years

Weight: 8 lbs

My Story: My sister Penny and I are a sweet bonded pair looking for a home together. We are very small, 6 year old girls who lost our home because of our owner's poor health. We are shy and need time to feel safe with new people and situations. Being in a kennel environment at the shelter is very scary for us, what with the other dogs barking and people we don't know walking by and looking at us. (However, it only took a few days for us to love and trust our shelter caregivers!). Once we know and trust you, we are both very affectionate and I love to be carried and cuddled. We're house trained with potty pads and we got along great with the cats we lived with. We're looking for an adults only home with a kind adopter who will let us settle in at our own speed. It's amazing how dogs who are frightened in a shelter can become so confident and loving once they're in a great home! If you understand that we're not unfriendly, just scared, and that we'll blossom into little love bugs if you give us time, then you're the kind of adopter we need! Midnight and Penny are a bonded pair who must be adopted together. They are approved for an adults only home.

Penny and I are a bonded pair so we have a special two for the price of one and a half adoption fee to help us find a home together!

Thanks to generous donors our adoption fee has already been paid!

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
My adoption fee is already paid by generous donors.
I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
