Hi, I'm Odie!
I'm a 9 year old neutered male white Husky.
Age: Approximately 9 years
My Story: I'm a super nice boy who lost my home when my owner passed away. I have a friendly and mellow personality, and I'm crazy about people but am really polite about asking for attention. The shelter staff loves me because I'm such an affectionate and well behaved gentleman! I'm well past the "wild and crazy" stage of a younger dog but I'll still enjoy going for walks as well as spending quiet time with my family. While I'm practically perfect in every way, I am a bit too interested in cats so I need a feline-free home. If you're looking for a well behaved companion with a super sweet disposition, I'd love to be your best friend!
The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed. Please contact the shelter at 920-674-2048 with any questions.
