Hi, I'm Dakota - Reduced Fee!!

I'm a young neutered male gray, blue or silver tabby with white Domestic Short Hair.

My best friend Emu and I are a bonded pair looking for a home together. We came from a home with a very large number of animals so we didn't get a lot of one-on-one socialization and are pretty scared of new situations and people. We will initially run from you and try to hide, so our adopter should set us up in a room of our own where we can't get into anything dangerous or undesirable (like behind large appliances, into basement ceilings, or in holes you didn't even know existed). Emu gets comfortable more quickly and is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves to be petted - he'll even rise up on his hind legs to meet your hand. He also has a very adorable smooshed face. :)  I take longer to settle in and gaining my trust is a slower process. However, once I start to settle I'm a very loving boy who enjoys being petted and getting scratches. We absolutely love each other and we also get along great with other cats. We're looking for a quiet home without young children with a patient adopter who will let us settle in at our own pace. In a nutshell, we're looking for a cat lover with a big heart who is willing to give us the chance we need to become loving companions.

Emu & Dakota are a bonded pair so they have a special two for the price of one adoption fee to help them find a home together!

It's a Fall Feline Frenzy so all cats and kittens have half price adoption fees!

My adoption fee is $20.00 and I must be adopted with Emu.
I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.
