BETTY: 8 months old, smaller to medium sized, friendly, seems to like other dogs, approved for calm and respectful children over the age of 6.

I'm an 8 month old pup with a wonderful disposition. I'm listed as a German Shepherd mix but I may not have any Shepherd in me at all - I just look like a miniature Shepherd! I can be a little shy at first, but if you're nice to me I'll quickly want to be your best friend! I have a medium/high energy level so daily exercise is a must for me. I have a sweet personality and am approved for families with calm and respectful children over the age of 6. I'm doing well with my potty training and my adopter will need to continue this training with positive reinforcement (and never punishment). I seem to like most other dogs and love to play with another pup at the shelter named Delilah. I'm looking for an adopter whose schedule gives them lots of time for an active young dog. My ideal home is with someone who will give me plenty of exercise, attention, and love!

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.
