WAFFLES: Sweet personality, active, approved for children over the age of 5, no cats.

I'm a red merle Cattle Dog mix who was born on 2/5/20, which makes me just over 1 year old. I am shy at first but after a few minutes you'll see that I'm a total sweetheart. In fact, my caregivers at the shelter are in love with me because I'm such a wonderful boy! Like most herding breeds I am intelligent, energetic, and have the natural instinct to herd. I herded the children and cats in my previous home but this was not "bad" behavior on my part - I'm just doing what I was born to do! I love to run and play so I  need an adopter who will give me lots of exercise and attention. I'm a smart cookie so I should quickly learn anything you want to teach me. (Herding breeds thrive on learning and love having a job to do!). I'm approved for families with children over the age of 5 and I need a cat-free home. I'm looking for someone whose schedule and lifestyle gives them plenty of time for a smart and active young dog. If you give me lots of love, attention, and exercise, I'll be the most loyal and affectionate companion you could ask for!
