Briggs is a sweet, cuddly boy who just needs a little time to come out of his shell. He’s shy at first, but once he feels safe, he blossoms into a relaxed, playful, and affectionate companion who enjoys pets, grooming, and being held. He’s spent his whole life with his brother, Binx, and the two are a bonded pair who need to find a loving home together. They’re used to a quiet, peaceful environment and are having a tough time adjusting to the busy shelter, often seeking comfort in their safe spaces. With patience and love, Briggs and Binx will make the most wonderful pair of loyal, loving companions.

I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
