Hi, I'm Zelda!
I'm a 1 year old spayed female black with white Siberian Husky / Mix.
- Estimated to be about 1 year old
- Spayed female
- Very sweet and well-mannered but unsure of new people at first
- Energetic and playful
- Gets along with other dogs
- Cannot live with cats
- Looking for a home with children over 6 years
I'm a young girl who might be a bit shy and unsure at first, but give me a couple of treats, and you'll witness a ball of energy and sunshine bursting forth. Treats are the key to my heart and attention, and I'm ready to learn all the new skills you're willing to teach—I've already mastered "sit" and "down." I'm not just cute; I'm smart and incredibly loyal. Toys are my jam, especially anything that squeaks, and I'm a fetch enthusiast—I'll bring the ball back and drop it every time. Well, most of the time. Sometimes, a girl has to play hard-to-get! I seem to enjoy my time with my pup friends, sticking to them like glue when we're on a playdate, so I would probably enjoy a canine companion in my home. I'm truly a sweetheart ready to bring joy and love to my forever family.
The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at email@example.com. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed. Please contact the shelter at 920-674-2048 with any questions.
