I’m a sweet little guy who loves nothing more than curling up on your lap for a cozy nap. I also enjoy playing with my small dog pals and have even gotten along well with the cat I've met! I’m super easy to handle, love being picked up, and can really move on my little legs when we go for walks—I do great on a leash! I’m working on my marking habits, but I do well with potty training in my kennel. If you’re looking for a loving, lap-sized companion, I’m your guy!

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.

If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
