Meet Wilder!
- 1 year old
- Neutered male
- No known experience with cats or dogs
- Did well with a young child, but was afraid of another child in a wheelchair
Meet Wilder, a sweet and strong boy with a tail that never stops wagging! Though he can be a little shy at first, it doesn’t take him long to warm up and show his affectionate, playful side. He loves attention, cuddles, and his daily walks, and he’s made great progress on the leash, becoming much calmer and more focused.
Wilder also loves to run and play ball, always eager to show off his speed and boundless energy. This happy boy has great manners too and will patiently sit for his dinner. With his goofy charm, big heart, and growing confidence, Wilder is ready to find an understanding adopter who will give him the love, structure, and adventures he deserves.
Wilder has been waiting a while to find his family so his adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take him home!
The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
Wilder has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. Wilder has tested negative for heartworm.
