Meet Kim, a quiet and gentle sweetheart who’s the very definition of a lap cat. She’s affectionate without being demanding—she’ll quietly sneak into your lap and happily settle in, perfectly content just to be near you while you work or relax. Petting is optional (but she’ll love you even more if you do!). Kim isn’t the biggest fan of other cats, but let’s be honest—how many cats can you fit in your lap at once, anyway? If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion, Kim is your girl.
Kim has been waiting a while to find her family so her adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take her home!
Kim has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
