Motown is a super friendly, outgoing boy who thrives on companionship and affection. While he can be a little nervous in new situations, he quickly seeks out his people for reassurance and comfort, often finding his courage with a familiar face nearby. Though he’s not a fan of being picked up or carried, he absolutely loves being pet and will gladly climb into your lap when he’s feeling cozy and safe. With a little patience and a lot of love, Motown will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion.
Motown has been waiting a while to find his family so his adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take him home!
Motown has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
