Dude is a scruffy little guy with a big personality. Like many small dogs, he sometimes puts on a tough-guy act, especially around new people and animals, but it’s all bark and no bite. Underneath that brave façade is a sweet, affectionate pup who loves attention and melts for a good scratch. He’s also a big fan of toys and will happily play tug-of-war or chase a ball around with you. With someone who understands his quirky charm, Dude will make a loyal, playful, and endlessly entertaining best friend.
The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
Dude has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. Dude has tested negative for heartworm.
