Meet Shy!

  • 6.5 years old
  • Spayed female
  • Lived with another cat and did well
  • Looking for a home without young children
  • No known experience with dogs

Shy is a quirky and charming calico who’s been through a big change, and while she was very shy and stressed at first, she’s been coming out of her shell more and more lately! Shelter life can still feel overwhelming for her at times, so she may get a little agitated when she’s stressed, but her previous owner described her as an absolute sweetheart in the home. She loves crinkle balls, laser pointers, and bird watching, and she enjoys a good balance of playtime and lap time. Shy can be talkative, affectionate, and even likes being held once she feels safe. She’s slow to adjust to new environments, but with patience and understanding, she’ll blossom into the loving companion her former family adored. She previously lived with another cat and did well, so she may enjoy having a feline friend again.
