Miranda is a sweet and affectionate girl who has blossomed since arriving at the shelter. While she was a little unsure at first, she’s now friendly and welcoming, often greeting visitors at the door with a gentle, silent meow. When she’s ready for attention, she’ll rub up against you, asking for pets and affection. Miranda may take a little time to adjust to a new home, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll be a loving and devoted companion for her lucky adopter.
Miranda has been waiting a while to find her family so her adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take her home!
Miranda has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
