Dora is a gentle, sweet girl who needed a little time to adjust after losing her home. As she’s settled in, her inquisitive and affectionate personality has begun to shine. She enjoys pets and head scratches and is content to relax nearby without demanding attention. Dora enjoys spending time with her friend P Squared, and she would love to find a loving home where they can stay together.
Dora has been waiting a while to find her family so her adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take her home!
Dora has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
